Subject: SCHEDULING OF INLAND STUDY TOUR OF 34 SMC

During the last SMCs & MCMCs, participants from different NIMs
visited the same districts simultaneously for the Inland Study Tours, thus creating
hospitality fatigue and administrative overload for the host organizations. In addition, it
was also observed that hardly any host organization could accommodate around 35
participants from two NIMs for a meaningful presentation/ discussion in their conference
halls. The situation warrants for collaboration among the NIM administrations during the
planning phase to avoid such a situation in future. Hence this Communique.
2. The 34th Senior Management Course (SMC) has commenced from 09th
October, 2023. The National Institute of Management (NIM), Islamabad is planning to
schedule Inland Study Tour for the participants as under;
Dates:
Tuesday, 0211d January, 2024 to Friday, 05th January, 2024 (04 Days)
Stations:
Sialkot, Gujranwala & Lahore
Peshawar & Abbottabad
Multan & Faisalabad

3. The above program is being shared with the other NIMs so that we can
avoid recurrence of the situation experienced recently.
