I have used blue as my base color to give the space a calm & a soothing
feeling of tranquility. The feature wall will have Oolong color where the
Television is going to go up along with some selves or décor besides it.
The cornice & skirting will have a shade of high gate to add to the
definition of the room. The exterior wall of the toilet (opposite to the back
door) will have blue leaves wallpaper to add to feeling serenity when
people walk between the dining area & kitchen area.

Grey is that in-between color that lives between the

extremes of black & white. It insinuates the feeling of
neutrality & Balance. The whole idea of this color scheme for
this space is to make you feel free & you are free to feel
whatever you want to feel. There are going to be happy days
and not so happy days and that’s reality. If I understand
mental health any better, its OKAY to be sad or whatever
headspace you're in. No color scheme should force you to be
happy when you really not. It’s the LOVE & TIME that will heal
everyone, thereby making this a HOME!
The feature wall will be opposite to the TV wall & will have
resin art painting that will reflect the abovementioned
ideology. The windows, skirting & ceiling will be white. The
wall exterior to the toilet will have a grey-and-white brick
wall that will constantly remind the family members to be
humble as they walk between the kitchen & dining area.

Imagine looking at the world through a sepia-filtered lens &

having that sense of nostalgia. Through my color scheme, I am
creating a rustic feel for the space.
The feature wall will have Armada color while the other walls
in the hall will have Rodham. The skirting & cornices will have
beige Royal.
The Kids playroom & the wall exterior to the toilet will have
Golden Orange. The distressed furniture will compliment well
with the golden orange color.
One thing for certain is there will be a lot of plants in the Living
area that will bring life to the space. And not to forget the
rustic home décor that will add to the aesthetic appeal of the
home.
