Titanium is a preferred natural structure material for the marine equipments. The application of titanium materials in marine engineering well
demonstrates its excellent combination performance, and provides an important materials technology platform for the R&D of marine engineering
machinery and equipment with better reliability and longer service life. The article reviews characteristics and applications of titanium materials
and then gives an expectation in the future marine engineering application.
