INT – ARMY BASE – DAY

The sound of a military base can be heard over the sound of a

small yet high pitched humming noise. ALVIN stares dead into
the camera, white as a ghost. Standing outside a room he
waits; waits to be called.

A man walks out and tells him to follow him. His words can’t
be understood as the sound of a dull humming noise overpowers
his voice. Alvin walks into the room, being stared down by a
man sat behind a desk. He stands in front of him and salutes
before putting his hand beside his side. His stance is strong
and powerful, yet also nervous. His body is tight. Not a
single thing is out of place. He stands there waiting for the
foreboding consequences of his actions.

The man behind the desk opens a folder and talks to him. You
can see he is serious and is almost angry at Alvin, but he
can’t be heard. Cutting to Alvin, we see him taking the blow
not denying his actions, standing firmly with his eye’s glues
to a pin on the wall above the man’s head. He doesn’t move,
not even a muscle. He stays still as a statue getting
completely ridiculed for his actions. However, they still
can’t be heard. The drowning noise of a strong hum overpowers
the voice.

We see the man behind the desk stand up. Alvin salutes and
turns round in a military stance. He walks out the room, still
with his head high although his mood is incredibly low.

EXT – STREET – SUNSET

We cut to Alvin walking down the road. His body has slumped
low, juxtaposing is militarian stance that was before. He
walks alone with no one to go to. He is completely alone. That
has never bothered him before as he always had the army but
now that’s gone; he was left all alone. He walks to the middle
of a field where his campervan lay. He gets inside.
INT – CAMPERVAN – NIGHT

The sun has set now and the only thing he has left is his
campervan. He puts on the kettle and makes a warm cup of tea.
Outside is the sound of rain hitting the windows. He sits back
on his chair drinking his tea before getting up to go to his
laptop. Opening it, he moves onto his emails and notices a
suspicious email. We cut to him looking at the email, with a
dolly zoom in effect. He quickly gets up and grabs his phone
and goes to call his comrade. He turns round and goes to the
back of the campervan where he tries to call his mate. The
sound of humming over powers the dialogue once again. He gets
angry and throws his phone on the sofa. Turning round, he sits
back at his desk and starts researching into the email.

INT – HACKING – NIGHT

Alvin stays up all night coding and researching for this

email. Besides him is a note pad and pen where he’s written
his notes on. He finds out some information that he may be
useful, with a date written on his notepad with a huge circle
around it. He walks out of his desk and opens a cupboard. He
takes out a bag. Taking it on the table, he opens it up
revealing all of his guns. He takes them out and starts
assembling them. He keeps them on the table and goes to bed.

INT – SHOOTING PRACTISE – MORNING

The sound of an alarm wakes him up as he turns over and slaps

it off. Getting out of bed tired, he makes himself a cup of
tea. We then cut to a shot of him walking outside. He puts an
old bottle on some kind of tree stump or a table, sets his
sniper at it from a hundred yards away. Cut to a shot of
binoculars with the distance. Cut back to him sniping the shot
looking down the scope. We see the shot from down the scope
and the bottle falling over. Cut back to him getting up,
picking up his guns and walking back inside.

EXT – THE KILL SHOT – DAY

We cut to a setting shot of the location with words saying,

‘One week later’. We see Alvin walking down in full army gear
and with his bag to the side. We see a man with a backpack on
from down below. Alvin gets his sniper out of his bag and sets
it up. He looks down the scope and focuses. The world goes
quiet and everything goes slow. We only hear his breathing. We
look down the scope and see a man with a bag on his back down
below. He takes the shot and in slow motion we see the gun
recoil back. Following the bullet, we see it hit the man and
neutralize him. We quickly see Alvin back up his stuff, take
his jacket and army trousers off and get them in his bag. He
walks out of the car park and heads down.

EXT – FINALE – EVENING

Alvin can be seen walking down a street, lit up by police

lights flashing on him. He acts completely normal and
unsuspicious and walks past with nothing said or nothing
acted.
