Soccer Horse
Soccer Horse
Soccer Horse is a soccer version of H-O-R-S-E, a popular basketball game. In this game,
players attempt to have "horse" spelled against other opponents by kicking goals.
HOW TO PLAY: Assign 2-4 players to a soccer goal post, and have them decide a
kicking order. Cones can used to set up additional play areas for larger groups.
The objective is to make a goal and hope that the next player misses, eventually causing
the letters "H-O-R-S-E" to be spelled against the opposing players. A successful field goal
is when the kicked ball travels past the goalie into the net. The first player begins by
kicking a soccer ball from at a spot of his choosing (must be at least 1 0 yards away from
the goal).
The goalie is the second player in the kicking order. If successful, each player in line
must also make it from the same spot. Any player who misses gets the letter "H." A
player receives a letter only he if misses a kick that the previous player had made. A
player is out once "H-OR-S-E" is spelled against him. Play continues with the players
rotating, in turn between the kicker and goalie positions until only one player remains.
