SYNTHESIS
The Philippines is known to be resilient and hospitable but these adjectives aren’t that helpful
to successful individuals, For example, disasters are prevalent and inevitable in the country every
quarter of the year. These common problems are still pervasive as of now today, the government is
still trying to solve those questions underlying the effects of globalization. These lead to the
desperation of the Filipinos who struggle to their basic needs, and some become forced to commit
crimes because of poverty. However, the current administration has a progress in improving yet
those improvements are not accessible to many Filipinos whose social status is low class whereas
they cannot fulfill access in terms of infrastructures and technologies that are being prioritized today.
There are possibilities that the Philippines would be a better country if we progress ourselves with
unity if the power had been used well. According to Noam Chomsky, the Globalization affects
history thus the Phillipines are too. The example is from the time of transnational corporations from
the other country’s enterprises where foreign investors come from the country, the bad thing was this
method is mostly chose developing countries to exploit them from the workforce with the pursuit of
profit whereas the low minimum wages are intact to employees causing a wide array of poverty
threshold and socio-economic indicators to healthcare access and negative tolerances of influences
may affect.
The country is not a progressive country if only one area is improving. With this progression,
all Filipinos could have the equality to promote the status of the country by increasing revenues,
abolishing social class, and enhancing growth performance.
REFLECTION
In my perspective, the government should held accountable for many Filipinos who suffered
many decades ago up until now, these prevent us from progressing overall and not achieving the
goal in a particular year. Only if could the government tackle about long years of corruption by not
misleading us about the information given by them the chances would rather be as good as today. It
is clearly evident that only the Metropolitan areas like Metro Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, New Clark,
Negros Island, and Davao are the only improving areas in terms of infrastructure and technologies,
In addition, if this implied to all areas in the Philippines that is the only way to say that the country
is progressive country and also joining in the global success.
