In these days, there was a Chinese New Year's Day that people celebrated about New Year's Day
but this festival based on China's tradition, belief, mythology, folklore, and many things in China's
history.
If you lived in China on New Year's Day, there was ritual that families in China were going to
respect and give foods or some fruits with their Grandfather, Grandmother or someone in their family,
who passed away for a long time ago, so this ritual was called "Ancestor Worship", and on that day you
would see the audiences, they was on the streets and watched parade that had Dragons, Lions, Shows,
etc. and so many fireworks and drums' noise, all of these were showed by Chinese guys, they wore their
owned costumes, their shows were heritage from past, and shows were handed down to next
generations, Chinese people believed in their China's heritage. They thought that was so valuable
because the fabric of China's society taught them how hard their ancestors fought for their freedom, so
they never forgot what their ancestors did for them, and that made them conserve their heritage,
culture and tradition.
So, I thought if we could conserve our beautiful culture, tradition and heritage from our
ancestors so our country would be beautiful like them, and our children would be proud of our country
in the end.
A New Morning
These days Chinese New Year is a special occasion that Chinese people around the
world celebrate their New Year festival. In fact, the festival is based on China's traditions, beliefs,
mythologies, folklores and other things in Chinese history.
If you lived in China on New Year's Day, there would be a ritual that families in China
going to pay their respect and give foods and fruits to their grandparents or relatives who
passed away a long time ago. This ritual is called "Ancestor Worship" and on that day you will
see lots of audiences who are gathering on the streets and watching a dragon parade which is
customarily performed along with lion dancers acrobats, kung fu performers, and of course, the
drums and horns, all ending in a burst of firecrackers! All of these are shown by Chinese men
and women. They usually dress up (phr.v. แต่งกายดีเป็นพิเศษ) in their own costumes.
Interestingly, their shows are part of their national heritage from the past. They want to hand
this culture down to future generations. The Chinese believe in their national heritage. They
think that is so valuable because social studies taught in Chinese schools always teach them
how hard their ancestors fought for their freedom. As a result, they will never forget what their
ancestors have done for them, and that encourages them to conserve their heritage and
culture. (encourage v. กระตุ้น ส่งเสริม สนับสนุน / encourage someone to do something)
So, I thought if we could conserve our beautiful culture from our ancestors, our country
would be as beautiful as it used to be in the past, and our children would be proud of our
country in the end.
