If you were to lead,

which president
would you emulate?
Why?
RAMON DEL FIERRO MAGSAYSAY SR,
Ramon Magsaysay would be my role model if I ever ran for presidency, because there was no corruption
under his administration, he was known for having good governance and integrity, and he led with
honesty and altruism. His reforms in agriculture, health care, and economics helped to improve the
quality of life for Filipinos. He had taken steps to better the country.

He had implemented reforms that allowed the country to be self-sufficient and taken steps to improve
the infrastructure of the country. He is also known for being the president of the Philippines whose most
admired, and he has come to represent moral and ethical leadership. He was also known as a good role
model to others due to his simple and humble way of life. During his term, he established and improved
a number of government agencies, including the Social Welfare Department (now DSWD), the Sugar
Regulatory Administration, and the Bureau of Internal Revenue. He is also known for being a great war
leader who fought the Japanese during World War II and was known to be good in both civil and military
administration.

During his presidency, Ramon Magsaysay always kept the Malacanang or the House of the President
open to the public. Because He believed that there was no need for secrets and mysteries to be hidden
from the public in the presidential office. His interest in the ‘’masa’’ was genuine, not a political scheme.
I'm not saying that he is ''perfect'' but rather a man with integrity and a nationalistic leader. When he
made a mistake, he immediately corrected it. The people's affection for Magsaysay during those times
was genuine and deep. In these modern times of governance, I can only say that corruption is the
primary cause of any nation's economic downfall. That is why Magsaysay is my inspiration because he is
transparent and true to the people of the Philippines.

Who’s your #1
senator?
Risa Hontiveros
My number one Senator is senator Risa Hontiveros, because as a women, i support someone who
protect and advocates a law for us women, not just women but she also support and protect children,
solo parents, and senior citizens by proposing the ''Lingap para kay lolo at lola act'', which will establish a
system of universal social pension for Pinoy senior citizens, and the free dialysis act, which demands
philhealth to provide free dialysis sessions to all citizens. In addition, she truly cares about every
Filipino's well-being and mental health and is also very transparent to the public.

For me, she is the only senator who is doing her job and making good use of her position. Her braveness
and determination are what makes her stand out, especially now that we're facing a lot of issues like
sexual abuse, teenage pregnancy, gender-based harrasment specificaly in public spaces.

Senator Risa serves for more than 11 years in congress with clean record and without any issues and
allegations. As a senator, she had stood up for the public and Filipinos' rights. Senator Risa was also
known for her initiative to fight for social justice, as she fought for laws and regulations concerning the
rights of children, women, and other oppressed groups. She had also issued new policies and laws that
dealt with issues such as national security, women, LGBTQ equal rights, and more. And was also
known as someone who take the risk when it came to issues she was passionate about, and was ready
to face criticism for doing so because she stood up for what she believe was right. In summary, She is a
senator who has proven to be very dedicated and diligent through the enactment of numerous laws and
policies that aim to protect Filipino citizens' rights. Her views on politics is centered on social justice and
equality for everyone, and she has shown immense enthusiasm and initiative for helping those in need.

What are your

thoughts about
celebrities entering
politics?
I am against the idea of celebrities entering politics, because i believe that people inside the government
should be knowlegable, skilled and capable enough in order for them to do their duties effectively, If we allow
celebrities to run for office who have no idea how our government system works, have not completed any
political courses, and have no knowledge of the laws we have, they could fail to be knowledgeable and up to
date with the political issue at hand, and they could grow more interested in gaining power and forget the original
purpose of politics as a whole and instead of applying their political power to better improve our country's
condition, they will just use it for their own benefits. They may become too prominent and lose touch with the real
political problems, ignoring the needs of the nation. They may also become corrupt and forget to use their power
and position properly, rather abuse it.

Celebrity politicians might not have integrity in the way they make choices because they can easily be influenced
by their popularity and power and forget about their responsibilities to the community and country. It will
additionally result in an imbalance between the ruling class or the wealty and privileged people and the poor and
marginalized, and it will also divert attention from necessary matters of politics. Politicians must understand how
the government works as they are the ones who will lead our country to a better future. They are the ones who
control our country and whom we entrust our country's future. They are the ones who determine the direction of
the country.

So to effectively lead our nation and make a difference, they must understand how our government operates,
how our political system works, which sectors to improve, and what is more efficient for our citizens. If we choose
someone who is uneducated, our country may suffer as a result. Not only will it affect our country, but it will also
create chaos in our political system as well, possibly resulting in political, economic, and social breakdown. It will
also cause a lot of tension and will have an impact on the country's global image because other countries will
lose trust and respect in us as they will see us as a weak and irresponsible country.

if you will be
advocationg, what
advocate you
want?
If ever given the opportunity to advocate for our people, my advocacy would be improving the mental health system
and assist those who are mentally ill. It might be as easy as providing free medical and psychological services, but
it can also involve bettering and spreading information concerning mental diseases. Thus, this might benefit the
country as a whole and lessen the stigma associated with those who have mental health issues. I want my country
to understand the significance of mental health and the need for it to be taken seriously. things can aid them in
better comprehending things and overcoming their challenges.

I'd also like to use my platform and power to speak out for social justice, human rights, and equality. I also want to
advocate for a better education system and better income specially for low-income Filipinos. We should also work
together to improve the quality of life of these people. We should advocate for the eradication of poverty and social
justice and support the social justice movement and the marginalized groups. Additionally, I also want to advocate
for a better income and better living conditions for these group of people and create more social progress for our
nation. Advocating for policies that aim to reduce poverty, inequality, and discrimination, as well as ensuring that all
members of society have access to basic needs and equitable opportunities. There are other problems for which I
would be willing to advocate including conservation and environmental preservation initiatives, reforming the
criminal justice system, and access to decent education and healthcare. I would also like to see more emphasis
placed on the rights and well-being of vulnerable populations such as children, women, and the elderly.

I believe that utilising my platform and voice to advocate for others' rights and to support efforts to establish a more
just and equitable society. Lastly, I want to promote gender equality and expand the representation of women in
government, leadership, and politics. In the Philippines, we should strongly encourage more women to run for
office in addition to reducing social constraints and the stigma associated with women in politics. More women
should be given the opportunity to take roles in government and other institutions in order to inspire and empower
women, support our nation's political development, and cease discriminating against what we women can
accomplish.
