INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
In this study, TIMWOODS are observed in a mall environment. By observing shoppers in
relation to these seven elements, the study hopes to learn more about how consumers behave.
The observation was carried out at Cabuyao Centro Mall. It was made up of customers in
different stores and common areas. The observers offer suggestions and recommendations on
how customers, staff members, and employees at various locations interacted with one another,
what they bought, what they saw, what objects caught their attention, and how close or far apart
people stood in lines and crowded in the supermarket. The study's objective is to comprehend
consumer trends and behavioral patterns in light of observations of TIMWOODS factors.

schedule that gives
cleaning staff assignments
for various floor areas

this, everyone shares the

and no one is required to

rearranging may be
required throughout the
day if the fruit and
vegetables are set out in a
more logical and
organized way. Customers
can find what they need
more quickly by using
labels, visual cues, and
even dividers, which
eliminates the need for
staff to constantly adjust
the displays.

4.2 Supermarkets can

maps that show the
locations of the aisles. In
order to cut down on time
spent searching the store,
the grocery store app can
also provide real-time
directions and product

5.2 The supermarket could

assess the current product
flow and layout to identify
areas for improvement. To
make similar items easier
to find, this may entail
rearranging entire aisles or
sections of the store.
Additionally, wayfinding
and signage could be
enhanced to better direct
customers to various
departments and product
categories. Customers
may find what they're
looking for more quickly
with a more logical layout
that groups comparable
items together.

CONCLUSION
Identifying the TIMWOODS we can detect the areas that were being misused and processes
that were may be inefficient like what we have done in the activities where in with the use of
TIMWOODS we are able to see the waste in their usual processes and detect some of their
inefficient way in their processes and even the small details. As an industrial Engineering
student, TIMWOODS will be a valuable tool asset for us in the future when we will going to work
in the industry and will give us an edge because mastering this framework will help the
organization/management to lessen the cost and maximize the productivity, time, and effort of
every employee involve in the organization
In our practical application of TIMWOODS at Centro Mall, we were able to identify their
usual processes, opportunities for procedure enhancements, instances of defects, and
underutilized potential across all franchises within the establishment. Through the

implementation of TIMWOODS, we were able to provide solutions to every waste that we find
inside the establishment named Centro mall. To conclude, using TIMWOODS regularly to every
establishment whether it is big or small is a must that every organization/management needs to
do.
