Most major credit cards are accepted and you may be required to leave a credit card imprint
or number upon check-in. Please note that rates are quoted in Singapore Dollars and may
be subject to a 10% service charge, 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) and 1% cess.
All rates listed in this brochure are published rates, furnished by the respective hotels. As
most hotels have promotional rates available from time to time, we recommend that you
confirm the rates and facilities available directly with the hotel before making any
reservations.
GETTING AROUND
You can explore every corner of the island with Singapore's modern transport system. Taxis
are abundant and affordable, the bus network is reliable and safe, and the Mass Rapid
Transit (MRT) rail system is efficient and extensive. Detailed information on bus routes, MRT
stations and fares can be found in the TransitLink Guide, a copy of which can be purchased
at bus interchanges, MRT stations and major bookstores. Alternatively, check out Public
Transport www.sbstransit.com.sg or www.tibs.com.sg
There is the Singapore Trolley Ticket at SGD 9 for adults and SGD 7 for children if you
intend to move mainly around the city and major shopping areas. Tickets can be purchased
on board the Trolley or from selected hotels.
Besides getting onto the MRT train, another easy way to travel to and from Singapore
Changi Airport is to take the MaxiCab, a 6-seater taxi shuttle service operating daily from
6am to 12 midnight. Fares are SGD 7 per trip for adults and SGD 5 per trip for children aged
from 2 to 12 years old. The shuttle offers flexible routing between Singapore Changi Airport
and almost all hotels within the city (excluding hotels on Sentosa Island). Bookings can be
made at the service counters at the airport's arrival hall.
Visitors to Singapore can drive using their respective country's driver's licenses for up to six
months, subject to specific terms and conditions. Rates are charged according to car size
and the number of days of use. Weekly rates are also available. Most rates quoted exclude
car insurance and GST. Call Avis at Tel: (65) 6737 1668 or Hertz at Tel: (65) 6735 7566.

emergencies, dial 995.
