Empowering 4 crore higher education students and recent graduates to access industry-aligned courses for skilling and upskilling key for Aatmanirbhar Bharat and continuous upskilling the driving force for making India the global digital talent hub. It is required to upgrade the higher education students in the area of future ‘and emerging technologies i.e. Artificial Intelligence, BlockChain, Cyber Security, Data analytics and intelligence, Extended Reality (XR), Electronics, Energy solutions, Full stack developer, Gamification, GitHub, HTML5, Human- ‘computer interaction, {OT for future. AICTE has also started the degree and diploma program in these emerging areas with a vision to make our country “India as Technology Capital of the World” we would like to initiate a campaign “Technology for every Indian student” which aims to Evaluate -> Train -> Practice -> internship -> Perform -> Certify -> Employ Itis envisioned to register more than 1 crore students and get, them trained in these emerging areas for 3 to 6 months. Hon’ble MoE, Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan and Hon'ble MOS, MSDE Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar addressed the gathering during an event for skilling reskilling upskilling, internship, apprenticeship, and employment to One Crore students in the Emerging Technologies on 6th June, 2022 at AICTE auditorium. More than 100 companies and student, faculty of the institutes all across the India joined the program in hybrid mode. ‘Companies itp in Digital Sting Wie Achievements Approval Process The last date for submission of online applications was extended up to April 30, 2022 and again extended up to May 2, 2022 without late fee. NBA accreditation for a course under the same program is, modified /expanded with the provision that NBA accreditation of course can be used for introduction of new course under a different program. Like Institute having NBA accreditation in 16 different MCA courses can use such accreditation for increasing the intake in UG courses from the emerging areas. Similarly, Institute having NBA accreditation in 06 different MBA courses can use such accreditation for increasing the intake in UG courses of engineering and technology, The council vide a corrigendum in APH 2022-23 has reduced the TER charges for new application by the existing AICTE ‘approved institution (intake upto 1000) from 3.00 Lakhs to 1.00 Lakhs. Institutional Developmental Activities - AICTE-IDEA Lab AICTE has decided to establish AICTE-IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab in AICTE approved institutions, encouraging students for application of science, technologies, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fundamentals towards enhanced hands-on experience, learning by doing and product visualization.
