Fairytale : Cinderella

Once upon a time, in a village there lived a beautiful girl named Cinderella
with her wicked stepmother and two step sisters. She worked hard all day. One
day, they all went to a ball in the palace, leaving Cinderella behind. Cinderella
was feeling sad. Suddenly there was a burst of light and the fairy godmother
appeared.
With a flick of the magic she turned Cinderella into a beautiful princess
with glass slippers and a horse carriage appeared at the door. The fairy godmother
warned Cinderella to return before midnight. Cinderella arrived at the ball, the
prince saw her and fell in love with her.
They danced together all night. as the clock struck twelve, Cinderella
rushed out to her carriage leaving one of her slippers behind.
The prince went to every house in the town with the slipper until he found
Cinderella. The prince and Cinderella lived happily ever after.
 Fairy tale : The Talkative Tortoise

Once there was a tortoise lived in a pond. Two Swans used to visit the
same pond everyday. The tortoise was very talkative. It used to talk to swans for a
very long time. Tortoise and Swans become good friends. All of them were
happy. Once there was a drought and it lasted for long time.
As a result, the water in the pond got dry. There was no water for them to
drink. The swans decided to move out to some other place. The tortoise asked
swans to take him alone with them. The swans suggested a plan, according to
which tortoise would have to hold a piece of stick by its mouth and the swans will
hold its two ends of that stick.
They told the tortoise not to speak otherwise it would fall and die. The
tortoise understood and promised them not to open its mouth during that journey.
While crossing a village, many saw the tortoise and got surprised.
They shouted at the tortoise and made fun of him. Tortoise got angry and
opened its mouth to speak. But as it opened its mouth, it fell down on the ground.
The swans were very shocked to see their friend's end. The tortoise died because
of its impatience and foolishness.
 Fairy tale : Rapunzel

Once, a witch stole a baby girl named Rapunzel and took her to a tall
tower with no stairs or doors, but only a window.
Rapunzel had long hair, which the witch used to climb up the tower. One
day, a prince, passed by the tower, heard Rapunzel sing. He also saw the witch
climb the tower.
When the witch went away, the prince climbed up the tower. Rapunzel and
the prince met and fell in love with each other. Soon, the witch returned. She cut
Rapunzel's hair and left her in a desert. Then, she threw the into bushes and
blinded him.
Many years passed, the blind prince wandered alone and reached the same
desert. He heard Rapunzel's song, followed her voice and found her. Rapunzel's
tears of joy fell into the eyes of the prince and healed his blindness. The prince
took Rapunzel to his kingdom and married her.
 Fairytale : The Little Red Hen

On a beautiful farm, there lived many animals and birds. One day, Little Red Hen
found a grain of wheat in the farmyard.

She asked the other animal and birds on the farm, "Who wants to plant this wheat
grain?". The duck, Cat, and the goose were lazy and quickly refused to do any
work.

So, little Red hen planted the grain of wheat. When the wheat was ripe, the little
Red hen again asked the others, "Who will take this wheat to the mill?".

The duck, Cat, and the goose again ignored the little Red hen and continued their
work.

When it was time to make bread with the flour, the little Red hen did all the work
by herself.

The duck, cat and the goose stood close thinking that they too would get a share.

But the little Red hen refused to give the share and said, "I will eat my bread alone
as I did all the work."

She called her chicks and they all had a feast.

The Greedy Dog

Once, there was a dog searching for food. It got a bone from a meat shop.

The dog took the bone and went towards its house. It reached at the bridge of the
river which was near his house.

The dog saw his image in the water and mistook that some other dog is there in
the water with a bone in its mouth.

The greedy dog made a plan to snatch away the bone from the other dog. It
opened the mouth for snatching away the bone. Alas!, the bone in its mouth fell
down in the river.

The poor dog lost its bone and went home crying.
