For hydraulic power unit, the maker KOCINE.RACINE's one and for bydraulic valve, the NACHI's one are used. For operation and maintenance information on the hydraulic pump, valves and other components, refer to the attached instruction manual of the unit. Location and functions of hydraulic valves The hydraulic valves are functionally grouped together in two blocks. One block is located inside the head cover, and the other at the upper part of the column. 1)_Hydraulic valve port names Mc211-00025 2) Operating voltage: 100 V AC 50/60 Hz Flow regulator valve 3-21 Mazak 3) Adjustment of flow regulator and check valve Adjusting screw Lock nut, Mc211-00024 Adjusting screu om Lock ‘nut HC211-00023 The flow is reduced by turning the adjusting screw clockwise. To increase the flow, turn the screw counterclockwise. 3-22 Mazak 4) How to manually operate a magnetoelectric solenoid valve Hand-push pin 4211-00027, While the magnetoelectric solenoid valve is not energized, it can be operated by depressing its hand- push pin with a rod. 5) Function of solenoid valves As previously indicated, the automatic tool change, magazine rotation and tool unclamping are controlled by the appropriate solenoid valves which are operated under command of the electric sequencer vithin the electric control enclosure. The following information describes the function of each solenoid valve: See valve diagram on the right side of the spindle head. © Tool unclamp YVS10 This valve controls the hydraulic cylinder to clamp and unclamp a spindle tool. When the valve is turned on, the draw bar is placed in the UNCLAMPED position: With the valve in the OFF position, the draw bar is in ‘the CLAMPED position, When operating this valve by hand, be sure that the spindle is stopped and take cares not to allow the tool to fall from the spindle. 3-23 Mazak 3-6 Pneumatic System Pressurized air is used for magazine up and down and to provide air blast to the spindle tool. The air source must be prepared by the machine users. The required supply pressure is approximately 5 kgf/cm? (71.11 PSI). An 8 mm (0.31 in.) diameter air inlet is provided on the rear side of the machine to connect the supply source to the air system with a rubber of other hose. The supply air must not contain a considerable amount of water or oi] mist. If the system is directly connected to an air compressor, the supply hose must be long enough to allow air to cool before it is admitted into the pneumatic system, If a hot air is admitted into the system, the valves and pipes may be plugged or rusted with water or oi] vapor condensed after the cooling in the system, if any defective valve fs found, check the system for presence of water in oil. 3-24 Hicidcit {voy9d0) yste 110 SISK, "a bas (vera) 4 Fysetq aye ames yoroy (verado) seg a7e uya3Ng asera 72 otputds |uropen zeptoy To03 auyzeSey WYWOVIG LINDWIO WIV 3-25 3-7 O41 Control Mazak Recommended oi] and grease, and re-filling/replacement, i interval.
