FASTING
Why do we fast? “While they were

COMMUNICATION
God communicates:

Use God’s model in our parenting.


God’s has a plan for us, but He’s not the only one.

Your 100 Family Values
Sit down with a paper and pen and start to list some of your personal values that you want to
see in your family. Your children can help do this. Together, come up with 100 family values that
you either already live out or hope to see more of in your life and the lives of your kids.

Some examples might be: “… Impress them on your children. Talk


about them when you sit at home and
● Honesty
when you walk along the road, when
● Kindness
you lie down and when you get up. Tie
● Help the poor them as symbols on your hands and
● Reach the lost bind them on your foreheads. Write

Create Your Mission Statement
Tells your family where you are going and how to get there.

A mission informs you of your purpose. Anyone following the


same mission is on the same team.
Seeing your family as a team will begin a new dynamic in your
family as you mutually support one another, build each other up,
care for one another, and serve one another as well as working
together to fulfill your God ordained mission.
Wollner Mission Statement
Tells your family where you are going and how to get there.

“We the Wollner family, resolve to be Christ like,


developing a standard of Godly living through
family unity, service to others, and a pursuit of “Every family ends up

excellence.

Create Your Vision Statement
This is a one line statement that says what you hope your family will be at the end of your life when
your mission statement has been lived out..

Examples:
Our lives honor Jesus.
Standing tall no matter what comes.
We are a family of integrity.
We honor God and love people.

This is something you can say quickly to your children when reminding them of who
you are as a family, as correction or as encouragement.

Launch!
Post your values, your mission and vision statements in your house so
your children see them.
Refer back to them in teaching moments
Reevaluate each year
Create your own ways or follow our list of ways to build family team
spirit. Cultivate the DNA of your family so you know who you are and
can pass down that DNA to future generations.
