2. OPENING PRAYER
JM: To spiritually open the program, may I ask everybody to please stand for the
Lord’s Moment for our guidance and blessings to be led by Ms. ANGELICA G.
GAAC.
JM: Tonight is a celebration of adulthood and a thanksgiving of the life God has
given to our lovely celebrant. Let us put our hands together, as we welcome the
main highlight of this celebration, and as she stepped into a higher level of life,
ladies and gentlemen, our debutant, ANN MAURICE T. FRANCISCO. Let’s give her
a big round of applause.
5. OPENING REMARKS
JM: Evidently, before tonight, ANN MAURICE has had happy years in a very happy
home. The love of a family will always be God’s greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life
we can have several friends, classmates, and social circles, but there is only one
family who is always willing and ready to welcome us no matter what. Ladies
and gentlemen, na'rito po si mr. ELEZAR T. TOYONGAN.
para i-welcome po tayong lahat sa ika-18th birthday party ng kanilang
napakagandang anak.
(Welcome Remarks……..)
JM: Thankyou MR.TOYONGAN for that wonderful message. Lahat po kayo na naririto
ngayong gabi ay nakita kung pano lumaki ang ating debutant over the years, how she grow
to be a wonderful person she is now. At ngayon sya po ay isa nang ganap na babae.
6. 18 ROSES DANCE
JM: The 18 roses signify the debutant’s coming of age. We have now come to the part
of our program na isa sa mga pinaka hihintay ng ating makikisig na mga kalalakihan. A
chance to hold the hand of our lovely debutant for a short dance kaya wag na natin
silang paghintayin pa.
Each bachelor pagkataois nilang bigyan si ANN ng rose will dance with her for about
1 minute with the background music dedicated to the debutant. Ladies and
gentlemen, the 18 roses with our beautiful debutant. Starting off with:
1.
JM: Where there is great love, there are always wishes.” Dahil ang birthday ay laging
bagong simula, mga bagong masisikap na kasamang mga set of goals, sending
birthday messages and wishes is a tradition especially sa bansa natin, where we give
high value to family ties and relationship. Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I present to
you these 18 Wishers for our debutant.
Starting off with:
1.
JM: Many ancient cultures believed that smoke carried their prayers to the
heavens. So, at the count of three, members of the 18 candles, let’s say “MAY
ALL OUR WISHES COME TRUE” and blow our candles together. 1, 2, and 3 …
8. SPECIAL NUMBER
9. DINNER
JM: we are nearing the most awaited part of the evening, dinner…. But before we
partake of the sumptuous buffet that TOYONGAN FAMILY has provided us, may I
now call on Ms. ANGELICA GAAC for a prayer. After the dinner, the family would
like to request everybody to please remain for a while for the continuation of our
program. Thank you.
(DINNER…………….)
JM: Tonight is definitely filled with a bundle of surprises for our dear debutant.
Adding up to the list, here’s a video greeting from the people from all over the
world, the universe rather, who are closest to our dear debutant.
JM: Let us now proceed to the most important part of this should we call it rituals of
turning 18? Let us now acknowledge one of the most loved and important persons in
ERYL’S life. This time to dance with her, let’s welcome her father … .
SPO4 EMMANUEL A. VENTURA
JM: (In the middle of the father and daughter dance.) The father and daughter
dance is probably one of the most loved traditions in any Filipino debut
celebration. This signifies the daughter’s first step to womanhood and the father’s
acceptance of this period in his daughter’s life.
MISS Q N A QUESTIONS
(asks questions…………….)
JM: GAMES?????????????
JM: The 18 treasure gifts signify the 18 persons that she will treasure and these
gifts will be her inspiration and armor in her journey towards fulfilling her
dreams. Ladies and gentlemen, the 18 treasure gifts:
(enumerate list of 18 gifts)
JM: Let me share another good-to-know trivia to everyone on how birthday cakes
and candles came about as a tradition during birthdays. Some believe that the
tradition of birthday candles began in Ancient Greece. Putting candles on a cake was
a special way to pay tribute to the Greek moon goddess, Artemis. They baked
round cakes to symbolize the moon. Candles were added to represent the reflected
moonlight. Today’s tradition of making wishes before blowing out the birthday
candles may have started with that belief. Enough of all those did-you-know trivia
because at this part of the program, our lovely and stunning ANN MAURICE will
blow the candles on her birthday cake. And to complete that customary practice, let
us all sing joyfully a song I am very sure everybody is familiar with. Everyone, let's
all sing the happy birthday song!
18. BLOWING OF THE CANDLE AND CUTTING OF THE CAKE
JM – GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JM: All of you who are here tonight are closest to ANN. Sabi nga nila, friendship is a
million little things. This time, I’d like to ask her family members / dear friends to give
message to the debutant.
(gives message…..)
JM: For those who are going home, may god bless you, be safe everyone. And for
those who are staying, the night is still young and the floor is now open for dancing.
This is your host JM CANDELARIO, enjoy the rest of the night everyone!. Thank
you and have a blessed night.
