Your group will be assigned to a particular continent. Based on that allocation select a
country of your choice, an industry from that country, a company in that industry.
The group project should include the following topics:

 How did a particular company in an industry in your selected country achieve

international success? Your group will be selecting the industry based on secondary
research. Use the “National Competitive Advantage: Porter’s Diamond Model” to
illustrate your answer. [10]
 What methods does the country’s government use to intervene international trade?
Search in the web, give me names of the method with appropriate examples. [5]
 What is the status of regional economic integration for that country? Name the
agreements of which this country is a member state. What are the implications of
this regional economic integration(s) for your selected country and company? (How
is your chosen company and the country benefitted/challenged because of the
integration?) [5]
