Originality of the culture of camel breeding is a unique cultural and historical heritage of the nomadic civilization, which appears in the unique features of the ways, forms and aress of the culture of camel breeding, which have ancient historical roots. The culture of camel breeding is an understanding of camel breeding in a broad sense of the word. It includes not only the traditional understanding of camel breeding, like the use of camels in transportation as a pack animal, meat, dairy, textile production, but also many other areas such as sports and running, cultural and entertainment (beauty contests), scientific and educational, etc. ‘The World Camel Movement (*WCM”) is a universal and ongoing activity of the ICO and partners aimed at restoring, preserving and further developing of values and culture of camel breeding in conditions of modem globalization. ‘Types of ethnosport with camels are historically formed types of ethnosport, using ‘camels that have a pronounced originality and specific features determined by social and historical conditions of people's vital activity. The ICO recognizes the unique role of the camel breeding culture in the history and development of the nomadic civilization and humanity as a whole, as well as a necessity to preserve, revive and develop in conditions of globalization of the modem world by consolidating the activities of various organizations, prominent government, political and public figures for restoration, revival, preservation, development and promotion of the culture of camel breeding in the world, the ICO contributes fo development of special friendly relations between peoples and countries Mission of the ICO is to contribute to preservation of ethnocultural heritage and originality of peoples of the world through development of the camel breeding culture. The ICO encourages scientific researches and written _scientific- research works in the field of camel breeding and enrichment of the global library about camels, as well as providing support for authors, translators, and publishers. Principle of humane attitude towards camels. The ICO ensures maintenance of the highest level of safety and security during various practices of camel events, holding courses and seminars, establishing regulations aimed at improving safety of camels and all ‘members of the ICO. Cooperation with international organizations. The ICO cooperates with international organizations, develops and optimizes normative acts relating to practices of camel activities in order to dedicate the culture of camel breeding to serving humanity and struggling for peace. Fair competition and doping. The ICO pursues a fair competition policy, ensures awareness of the ICO members on the dangers of doping, and ages a fimdamental struggle against doping. Organization of ICO World Festivals. ‘The ICO organizes World Festivals (ICO WE?) as the highest level of demonstration of the achievements of the WCM. At all ICO events, in accordance with the established protocol, it is mandatory to use logo, flag, and anthem of the Ico. Coping with values of culture. The ICO promotes coping with values of the culture of camel breeding, promotion and support of initiatives that integrate the culture of camel breeding with human culture, education and science. Incompatibility of membership and collaboration. The ICO cannot collaborate and affiliate with organization and persons exhibiting any form of discrimination against a country or a person - racial, religious, political, and based on gender or other grounds. Membership in the ICO Sa Sy J ' ee Members The ICO includes five membership categories; each member should fit the membership’s criteria and commit to paying the annual subscription fees within the first three months of the financial year if the membership category requires such fees. If the member fails to pay within the specified period, membership shall automatically be revoked unless a decision is made by the BD. A new application for membership shall be submitted for a new membership. ICO memberships are as follows: ~ Founding Members = Active Members = Associate Members = Individual Members = Honorary Members Founding Members Is each entity or organization that has been a member of forming the ICO as, mentioned in Article 2) of this Statute. Active Membership Are those who fulfil the membership requirements as determined by the BoD and pays the defined annual fee whereas each country shall have the right to have only one active member except for the cases of exceptions by the BoD. Active members shall have the right to vote in ordinary and extraordinary GA meetings. 84 85 Associate Membership Associate Membership is open for any profit. and non-profit institution or ‘organization that is involved in the promotion of WCM, shares or support the overall mission of the ICO, and demonstrate a strong interest in it. Associate members can participate in the ICO's activities and attend GA meetings with no voting rights nor nomination in the ICO’s BoD. Associate Membership is granted by BoD decision. 8.6 Individual Membership Individual Membership is only open to individuals who are active athletes, entrepreneurs, scientists, public figures who conduct their activities in the field of camel breeding Individual Membership does not include institutions or organizations: individual members represent their person and not the institution(s) they are affiliated with. Individual members has the right to participate in the ICO’s activities, and attend GA meetings with no voting rights nor the right of nomination in the ICO BoD.
