    Gramin Pratrakar Sangh is organizing a grand event to celebrate it's 25th


    anniversary, honouring the outstanding journalists in the Maharashtra. The
    initiative to start the Journalist Excellence Awards 2023 is commendable,
    recognizing the remarkable work done by journalists in various media
    platforms only for Maharashtra.

    Gramin Pratrakar Sangh is the Journalists Association supporting since


    1998, with Founder President Late P. L Shirsat from Akola. This
    organization has worked towards bringing justice to rural journalists, and
    it's impressive that there are over 10,000 journalists in this association in
    Maharashtra. Shri Gajanan Januji Waghmare's role as the current state
    president is notable for the organization's leadership.
