1 General information
1.1 Version information
WARNING: Since the FW 2.5.0, new communication modes have been added to the setpoint
CAN Intercontroller Comm Mode. Because of that, when upgrading the FW from 2.4.0 (and older)
to 2.5.0 (and newer), the value of this setpoint might get changed in the upgraded archive. Keep
this in mind in case of using more controllers on a site - change of this setpoint on one of the
controllers will lead to controllers not seeing each other on the intercontroller CAN bus.

This FW version is compatible with:

InteliConfig version 2.38.0.38 and newer
InteliSCADA version 2.5.0.10 and newer
InteliVision 5.2 FW 1.6.1.1 and newer

Under certain conditions the fallowing problems can occur after 50 days without controller restart:
Communication problems with ECU.
Communication problems with Modbus Master.
Voltage Regulator and Speed Governor Bias was added to the output with 1 step delay (last value was
added to the output instead of the actual written new value).
The low range for current measurement is changed from 50 mA to 10 mA. Values under 10 mA are filtered
as zero input.

7 Changes in the version 2.2.1
7.1 Bug fixes
Fix in configuration of the on-board switch.
The Ethernet 1, 2, and 3 are separated even while controller is restarting (controller is not fully
loaded).

InteliMains 1010 2.5.1 New Features List 9

8 Changes in the version 2.2.0
8.1 New features
CAN Bus Log - allows a user to log communication between the CU, ECU, and I/O modules on the CAN
line.
Configurable history - it is possible to configure the columns (values) which will be displayed in the History
window.
Update of the logic for circuit breakers
Repeated command - When binary output breaker close/open change it state there is 2 sec waiting
time for feedback. If the feedback doesn't match, the output close/open is reset and the state is
changed again after 3 sec. If feedback doesn't match after second try and 2 second delay elapsed, the
alarm will appear in the alarm list.
New alarms - The CU distinguish if breaker fails during opening or closing, so the alarm breaker fail to
close or fail to open is shown in the alarm list.
If the feedback change it's state without changing breaker slose/open state the basic breaker fail
alarm is shown in the alarm list.
Update of the AMF function
Minor changes in the electronic state automate - AMF start is deactivated only after the mains is
healthy and MCB is closed again.
The new setpoint Mains Stabilization Delay is added - This setpoint adjusts the time that Mains
parameters need to remain within limits of voltage and frequency protections before the return to
Mains is initiated. This delay is active only when the GCB is not closed and the load is not powered
from the Gen-sets.
New supported combination for the CAN modules
The maximal number of CAN modules is limited by the number of the controller's generic modules.
Once the physical module is configured, it allocates necessary generic modules. So, it is possible to
configure as many CAN modules as many generic modules are available.
The maximum number of CAN modules is also limited by the number of addresses (indexes) that can
be configured for each type of the generic module.
CAN modules and generic modules share indexes (addresses).
Backward compatibility for the old type of CAN modules
I-AOUT8
IS-AIN8
IS-AIN8TC
IS-BIN16/8

8.2 Bug fixes

The PLC block Ana Switch 8 was causing watchdog if it switched to the input which was not configured
(connected).
IG1000 was sending wrong command for MCB opening to IM1010 - MCB Open On: Gen Run. The
command for opening was send once the motor gets to state runnings. Now the command is send once
the generator voltage and frequency are in limits.

InteliMains 1010 2.5.1 New Features List 10

Pulse Counters
Old Pulse Counters working only with physical BI9 and BI10 are renamed to Fast Pulse Counters.
New "slow" Pulse Counters were added which supports input from LBIs.
These changes will cause lose of statistics of the original Pulse Counters.
Setpoint: Load shedding → All the time option
All Loadshedding outputs are never tripped at once when gen-set is going in parallel with the mains.
All Loadshedding outputs are tripped at once when gen-set is going to island. The Loads are
connected one by one according to the Loadshedding setpoints.
LBI: Synchronization Disabled
Activation of this LBI disables synchronization. That means that the controller won't attempt to close
breaker(s) if synchronization would be needed.
AIN Switch
Whole functionality is removed.
Grid Codes
Minimal Power PTM → This setpoint defines minimal acceptable required power of the Gen-set.
Load ramp default value is set to 200 s

InteliMains 1010 2.5.1 New Features List 11

Reduction 1, Load Reduction 2, etc. is allowed.
Setpoint: Mains Measurement Q
Defines source value of the Mains Import Q.
Sum of energies - statistic values
The IM1010 receivesGenset kWh, kVArh and kVAh statistical values from Gen-set controllers in same
control group and makes the sums which are showed as statistical values Sum MWh, MVArh, MVAh.
Setpoint: Ignore Load Reserve For Island
This setpoint defines if load reserve condition has to be fulfilled to close the MGCB.
