The charts below illustrate the electric energy production in Spain and China, in

terms of the energy origin in 2005 and 2015. Overall, there are some decreasing
related prevalent source coal source in both countries, over the 10 yearsbetween
2005 and 2015. Also, we can see increasing of the eco-friendly source usage.
In China, coal was the most used electricity source in 2005, with 80%. The coal
accounted for large extent in both years, recordinged high percentages ,which over
than rest sources combined. However, the extent of the coal decreased in 2015, at
70%. In the same year, using the renewables source for electricity increased by 9%.
Extent of the nuclear origin also enlarged in 2015, with 3%.
Using oil and gas for electricity generation in Spain accounted for the largest
percentage of the total in 2005, with 32%. Flowing oil and gas, the percentage of
coal recorded at 30%. Meanwhile, the using of renewables source for electricity
generation in Spain was lower than that of China. In 2015, The using percentages of
coal, oil and gas were minimized reduced, shrined, by 10%, 9% respectively. On the
other hand, the extent of renewables source increased at 37%, standing featured

The pie charts below display the means used to produce electrical power in China
and Spain in 2005 and 2015. It’s immediately discernible that China relied more
heavily on coal than Spain for its energy needs, and both countries introduced more
renewable sources between 2005 and 2015.

At 80% we can see that coal made up for the vast majority of China’s sources for
electric generation in 2005, and this percentage dropped to just 70% in2015. Spain,
on the other hands, featured much more variety in its proportions. In2005, coal only
represented 30% of the sources; oil and gas led with 32%, with nuclear and
renewable sources trailing at20% and 18%, respectively.

Between 2005 and 2015, the amount of electricity generated from renewable
resources in China rose from 16% to 25%. Renewable sources also became more
prominent in Spain, with a marked increase from 18% in 2005 to 37% in 2015, which
was also the most prominent energy source for Spain that year.
