And now, AIESEC in Bandung presents you with another volunteering

opportunity!! The Local Volunteer program is here and ready to be filled by you.
You will be designated to give back towards the community by committing and
following various programs here. Not only that, you’ll also gain international
network throughout the activities. Thus, we encourage you to take this
opportunity that comes with various benefits for you and our environment.

guide you throughout your life. As a Local Volunteer you will engage in
regular interactions with Exchange Participants which will enrich your
knowledge of cultural diversity and expand your cross-cultural
communication skills.

 What’s IGV?

AIESEC in Bandung is one of the two LCs

that has the opportunity to start the realization
of GV (Global Volunteer). GV involved more
stakeholders, including EP (external
participants), LV (Local Volunteer) as EP Buddy,
OP Provider (Opportunity Provider), partner
and also hostfam (host family).

Global Volunteer is a cross-cultural 6

weeks volunteer experience for youth who
desires to gain personal development and leave
an impact on the world.

 What’s LV?

A Local Volunteer (LV) also known as

EP Buddy is a person who
accompanies an Exchange Participant
(EP) to carry out his or her activities
during a voluntary service project. The
LV can be involved with the EP for a
period of 6 weeks for each of their
activities.

 What’s Eco City?
Our current project is Eco City, which focuses on raising the issue regarding
SDG #12 that aims to raising awareness about the importance of sustainable
communities & lifestyle and build action plans to reduce critical factors
affecting the environment. Global Volunteers and Local Volunteers will
engage local communities to realize the importance of taking action to raise
sustainable awareness.

Our goal is to increase awareness among society and the community centers
or NGOs to raise and shape a great sustainable environment and lifestyle
development. We are hoping this project can improve the sustainability of our
environment by clearly reducing unnecessary waste and raising knowledge
sustainable development, and lifestyles in harmony with nature.
