Provide a written Leter of Appointment to the Trainee, clearly speciying the following |. Term and Duration ofthe Training Period, wih Start Date & End Date (as provided by the Trainee and the Institution). Aso spec the dally hous, ‘Weekly hours, weekly working days, number of Leaves casualisick-leavelet), ‘declared hobdays, ete i. Outing the Role & Responsibility of the Trainee, in conjunction with the approved sylabus ofthe Insitsion/ University €Q i, Provide the Trainee with a Spend, and declare value ofthe same inthe LoA. ‘The amount of this Stpend must be atleast between 503 and 80% of the salary paid oa fully qualified Graduate-Arcitect working atthe Fn, 2. Designate a Mentor in the Fem who wil be in-charge of the Traine, as the gosto person with whom the Trainee shall interact & coordinate forall matters related tothe Job profleiwor output learings-expectedteam paricoatonmoidaysietc. as well as fling & submiting the Weekly ob Card as provided bythe Institution. 3. Give the Trainee access to athe amenities & faites provided to altherstaffin the Frm, inc. the Library, panty & lunchroom, washrooms, lockers/parking (i any) provide dally tealcofies as to all others 4, Eneure that the Trainee is exposed to those aspects of architectural practice that thoy are not actively & hands-on exposed to within their academic terms at tht Institution ‘These would include (but not imited to = Caleuating 800s, writing Spectcations, preparing Tender Documents = Sourcing & shortising Materiale/Fitings/Fisturesete fra ive project Being present during Interactions with Engineering consutations, PMCs, Client team, fo understand nation of Collaborative & Team Working = Visit the Site of Works, and be exposed to Measure-Drawings, Inspection Visits, preparation of MoMs, Sito Register entries, documenting Site Progress for Reports, Filig, ete Some aspects of Business Admin, Financal Admin, Taxation, Billng Procaaures, cteation of Contracts, ete 5. Provide the Trainee with Leave (within the designated Working Days requirements), to ‘attend bonafide requrements of the home Insuton” viz_Vivas. Lectures, Presentations (f any), on the Trainee producing a Letter to that effect from the Institution (ora direct emal/communication ftom the insituton to the Fim) 6. Alow the Trainee to take copies of their part of projets they workec-on (unless i's lunder NDA) for ther academic purposes of the end-Sem Viva, and thelr personal PontotiCV, B : Expectations of the STUDENT / TRAINEE 1. Applications for Internship Training must be clear, concise, precise, honest, and \erffabe. They should alo include clear information atout the period of Traning Ine Start DatefEnd Date and clear Total Duration (in weetsidays). This should also be ‘accompanied by the Program & Objectives of Training a provided by the inttuton 2. On receiving confirmation of having secured a positon as Trainee, the candidate should request for a Letter of Appointment, in the format 2s prescribed by the Institution 3.
