Submit two (or three) items

1) IF AND ONLY IF you didn’t submit the Union and Join work from Week 3, include that as a separate
TWBX file

2) (Preferably in a single) TWBX file, submit the guided work for this week. Your sheet titles differ
depending on your section and what tangent I went on, but I have included pics of each on the
pages that follow

3) Review the draft project description on Canvas and submit some details about your proposed final
project. I won’t hold you to anything – you can change your graphics, how they work; or even throw
out the entire topic for another week
a. Describe what you hope to show in ONE dashboard. A dashboard will contain multiple
sheets all on one page and be dynamic based on user input. This should be at least a couple
paragraphs. If you want to sketch something out, take a picture, and drag it into your doc,
please do (not required)
b. Find at least two data sources of at least 100 records each that might be used. Provide the
source for each, describe each, and describe how it might be used. Some possible data
sources are:
i. Data.world
ii. Data.ok.gov
iii. Data.gov
iv. https://databank.worldbank.org/source/world-development-indicators or other
World Bank Data Banks
v. https://www.kaggle.com/datasets
vi. Google “data set for <your topic>”. You could even try with Tableau
vii. Some of you probably have Covid on your mind so
1. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-
data/covidview/index.html
2. http://www.healthdata.org/covid/data-downloads
3. https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus
viii. You can even rip off (err, I mean extract) data from public visualizations on the web
for which the Tableau file can be downloaded – be sure you know the source and
that it’s authoritative.
ix. ….and quite literally thousands of others. I cannot answer the question, “how do I
find data for…” I would start with Google.
