In my opinion, no generation, my parents or mine, is superior, but there are many differences.
In my parents' generation, they didn't have cell phones and they had different values such as
spending more time with their families. In my generation, we are focused on our phones and
the family is not so important. First, the biggest difference between generations is technology.
The technology has become so incredibly advanced. My parents' generation did not have cell
phones, in case of emergency, they had to find a public phone to call the police or their
parents. Nowadays, it is incredibly rare if a person does not have a phone. There is a certainty
in knowing that people now always have a cell phone with them if there is any kind of
emergency. However, there are definitely some disadvantages of how advanced technology
has become. For example, my generation spends too much time on our phones to watch
Instagram, Facebook, twitter, etc. During dinner, family members use their phones instead of
talking and focusing only on their relatives.
