Instructions for Exams conducted on Mettl Platform

All exams for the entire program will be conducted on Mettl platform.

Please go through the details pertaining to the conduct of the Quiz/Mid Term/End term
Examination.

• Examinations shall be conducted through Mercer Mettl (Online mode) wherein the
monitoring will be done in a 360-degree view by a live proctor in addition to an AI-
driven remote proctoring tool. The Proctor can view the Exam surroundings. The Exam
should be ideally given from home/office where there is absolute silence. There should
be no one around and you should not read the questions aloud. In case of change in
location other than home/office please inform the batch coordinator, else you may not
be allowed to give the exam.
• It is the sole responsibility of the student to ensure a working computer system with
a working webcam and mic, and a stable internet connection. Keep a backup, if
required. You are advised to check your available computer systems, well before the
exam time.
• A Student must Login to the Link with only the registered email id [used during
registration] and SID for the exam. In case of any doubt please check the same with
your batch coordinator.
• Except for an open-book examination, all books and study materials must be kept away
from the surroundings. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during examinations.
• Students are not permitted to communicate in any form with anyone or receive any kind
of information. A student, who is found to be involved in an act of any misconduct, will
be held guilty and action shall be taken against the student as deemed fit.
• Please note that every movement is noted and recorded during the online exams, so
please be careful. Any violation of the norms of the examination will be
considered a serious offence and an act of misconduct. In such an event, the online
exam will be automatically disabled. If the gravity of the offence is such that it
adversely affects the reputation of the institute and/or the fair conduct
of an examination and/or the general discipline, the student will be liable for expulsion
from the program.
• The examination link would be emailed to your registered email id along with the exam
instructions well before the exam from admin.mettl@mercer.com.

While answering the online examinations, in case of any technical

glitches, immediately send an email to the support team of Mettl at mettl-
support@mercer.com marking a copy to the concerned Teaching
