1. Going to the doctor or self treatment? Try to find pros and cons in both.

The constant development of medicine has its supporters and opponents. Especially
in the era of Covid-19. Due to the amount of information in social media, people started
acting od their own. Is self treatment applicable ? However, is it better to see a doctor. I will
try to find the pros and cons of both options.
First, let's focus on self treatment issue. The main advantage is the fact that we don’t
unnecessarily take medicines that can affect other organs negatively. In addition, we don’t
spend a lot of time in queues, in which we often lose our patience. Moreover, the self
treatment is often based on taking products such as herbs, garlic, honey, lemon - they are
non-chemical. When it comes to the disadvantages, the main problem is that we are not
able to check what is the cause of disease. We used to use painkillers and it is not a solution.
We take too many supplements that our body does not necessarily need. What is more,
without being examined regularly, we may overlook the development of some disease that
could have been prevented before. When it comes to visits the doctors, it is certainly an
advantage that we treat the cause of the sickness. We can diagnose diseases at a stage that
allows to fight the disease. Moreover, we take medications that are appropriate to our
diagnosis. As for the disadvantages, visiting the doctor often cause additional stress or
increase in the blood pressure . Moreover, taking medications too often can make our body
resistant to some substances.
To sum up, the way people act depends on each individual. Many people have limited
access to doctors and have to cope somehow. During a pandemic, we have been forced to
deal with ourselves, let the body defend itself. To conclude, everyone decides for
themselves, according to their knowledge and well-being.
