Task 2

Layout of a shop is given in figure 1.

Problem Statement:

This shop is located in the most commercialized area of the city and is owned by 3 partners.
There is only one entrance to the shop i.e the front and hold a very high commercial value.
Currently the shop area is unequally divided amongst the three partners (two partners enjoy the
benefit of the front while the third partner gets the maximum area of the shop) as shown in
figure 2.

They want to resolve the dispute of unequal distribution of the area. Being their consultant you
are required to divide the area amongst three partners in a way that not only each partner gets
equal share in the area but they all get the benefit of front display. Keep in mind that the division
must be feasible for the business.

Each student must submit two different plans for the given problem along with the layout of
the shop. Also measure the area that is currently occupied by each partner.

The stairway leads to the 1st floor of the shop that is owned by another party.
