A LONG WALK TO WATER

There was once a boy named Salva. He was part of a family of 7

members. One day Salva was at school and there was a bang outside. The
teacher panicked and they left school in an instant. Salva was part of the Dinka
group, others were part of the Loun Ariik tribe. The two tribes hated each other.
Until one night they left him behind. Salva continued on her own until she
met her uncle. The two traveled a long way to the point they set out to reach.
But this did not happen again because his uncle died. Salva went to New
York to find her adoptive family. At the airport, Salva was greeted with open
arms by Chris, Louise and four brothers. Salva sat on his laptop all day and all
night to find out where his father was. One evening he received a message from
his cousin, whom he did not even know. This cousin worked for an agency in
Zimbabwe. He opened the message and saw that his father was going to have
emergency surgery on his stomach. Salva could not believe it, his father was
interned in South Sudan. Salva traveled so many roads until he reached his
destination. He entered the hospital and saw Mawien Dut Ariik's father. The
man greeted politely and had no idea who that tall man was. Salva recognized
him instantly, but the man still had doubts. After a few seconds, the man
realized that he had the same features as his son. The two hugged tightly and
were glad to see each other. The man told her where his mother and siblings
were. The good news was that almost all of his brothers lived apart from Kuol.
Salva couldn't believe his younger brother was gone.
I would have changed the story that Salva's little brother: Kuol survived,
as did his uncle!
