A. PROJECT TITLE/ SUB-TITLE:

MESQUISSE 4 DESIGN COMPETITION

FIVE STOREY WALK-UP APARTMENT/DORMITORY
B. PROJECT BRIEF:
The Don Honorio Ventura State University is one of the prominent state university in Pampanga. With its
growing number of course offerings and student population, the economic potential within the proximity of
DHVSU is distinguishable.
A property owner in Bacolor, want to invest in its 1200 square-meters lot. The site is a Corner Lot with a total
Lot area of 1200 sqm. (10 meters by 12 meters) bounded by two major roads of 6.00 meters wide at the east
and south sides.
The vision for this structure is to have a functional and flexible structure suited for both long term leases and
transients. Thus proposing a FIVE STOREY WALK UP APARTMENT/DORMITORY.
The main concept of the project is Live-Work-Play lifestyle, and a sense of having community of learners in a
conducive learning environment outside the university. Also the developer envisioned a socially-transformed
community for the resident of Bacolor.
