Theme parks are fun. You can find
roller coasters and all kinds of rides
there. There’s always something
exciting to do at a theme park.
Mimaland is considered the first
theme park in Malaysia. It opened
in 1975 but is now permanently
closed. Many theme parks opened
after Mimaland such as Genting
Outdoor Theme Park, Sunway
Lagoon, Legoland and many more.
The rides that you can find in
a theme park range from relaxing
to exciting. Thrill-seekers can ride
roller coasters, drop towers, pendulum rides and many more. These rides are usually fast
‘and exciting. They can also be very scary so children are usually not allowed to ride them.
Therefore, theme parks have family-friendly rides that are much more relaxing such as
the merry-go-round, Ferris wheel, boat ride and train ride.
Besides fun and exciting rides, theme parks also have delicious food. There are usually
plenty of restaurants, cafes and snack stalls in a theme park. Sometimes these
theme parks will even have performances such as magic shows and concerts.
