On October 26, 2011 settlement cheques were mailed to persons employed by Aramark Canada
Facilities Services Ltd. at Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and Providence Health Care
Facilities on the Sunshine Coast and Lower Mainland of British Columbia (the “Aramark
Employees”) who remitted union dues to the Industrial Wood and Allied Workers of Canada,
Local 1-3567 (IWA) between October 1, 2003 and May 20, 2004. These cheques were sent out
pursuant to the settlement of the class action brought on behalf of the Aramark employees
against the IWA for return of their union dues (see the September 26, 2011 Order of Madam
Justice Smith posted on this website).
If you were an Aramark employee between October 1, 2003 and May 20, 2004, employed at
Vancouver Coastal Health or Providence Health Care in the Lower Mainland or Sunshine
Coast, and have not received your cheque, please contact McGrady & Company, Class
Counsel, at 604-734-7003, or by email at info@mcgradylaw.ca, or by mail addressed to the
attention of G. James Baugh, McGrady & Company, Box 12101, 1105 – 808 Nelson Street,
Vancouver, British Columbia, V6Z 2H2. You will need to provide your full name, social
insurance number, current address and telephone number.
The following people have either not received their settlement cheques or have not presented
them for payment. If you are on this list, you must contact McGrady & Company and
provide the information requested above by no later than March 23, 2012. After that date,
you will no longer be entitled to participate in the settlement. If anyone has current contact
information for any of these people, please contact McGrady & Company.

This notice contains a summary of some of the terms of the Settlement Order. If there is a
conflict between the provisions of this notice and the Settlement Order, including any appendices
to the Settlement Order, the terms of the settlement order shall prevail.
