8. International compliance: - The Philippines' Intellectual Property Code is consistent with international
agreements and conventions, including the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic
Works, the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property and the regulations on aspects of
intellectual property rights affecting trade.
