In compliance with DepEd Order No. 31 s. of 2022 titled ‘Child Rights Policy: Adopting the Rights-based Education (RBE) Framework in Basic Philippine Education which states that ‘In RBE, DepEd programs pertaining to child protection, student governance and participation... are not viewed as extra, disparate or peripheral programs in basic education’, Republic Act 11369 ‘National Students’ Day Act’, and OUA Memorandum 00-1120-0152 ‘National Students Day’, DepEd recognizes the observance of November 17 of every year as National Students Day (NSD). Hence, this schools division, thru its Learner Formation arm will conduct the NSD 2023 Division Observance, featuring the ‘Logo Design Making Contest.’ 2. An opportunity for the Filipino students to engage themselves in various activities which ignite their creativity, enrich their knowledge, skills, and passion in their fields of interests, and showcase their significant contribution to nation-building, the division observance featuring the Logo Design Making contest, shall unleash the creativity of the learners in making logo designs of the identified Program, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) of the present leadership of division learner organizations, which are anchored on the DepEd core values Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa. The said PPAs are contained in Division Memorandum No. 511 s. 2023 for the Integrated General Plan of Action of Division Federated Learner Organizations for SY 2023-2024 in collaboration with Learner Formation. The Logo Design Making Contest is open to secondary learners. 2, Each district must have one entry (1 participating learner and 1 coach) per category, thus district eliminations/selection must be conducted. 3. The participating district must accomplish the District Entry Form to be submitted along with the logo design entries on the online submission link. (The entry form could also be downloaded on the submission link provided). 4. Criteria for Judging: 50% Relevance to the DepEd Core Value 40% Concept and Elements of the Graphic Design 10% Originality and Visual Impact 100% Total 8. The winning (champion) logo design entry per category will be used as official logo of the identified Program, Project and Activities (PPAs) of the division leamer organizations for SY 2023-2024. 9. Certificates of Recognition will be awarded to the participating learners and coaches of winning entries (champion, 1* runner-up and 2" runner-up) as well as for the finalists (in top 5) while Certificates of Participation will be given to the non-winning learners and coaches. 10.
