FAQs for MBA Admissions 2023-24

1. How many programs does COEP Offer for MBA?

There are two programs- MBA in General Management (with Finance &
Entrepreneurship as Electives) and MBA in Business Analytics

2. How many seats are available?

For MBA General Management there are 30 seats and for Business
Analytics- 60 seats are allotted.

3. How to apply for admissions?

All admissions will take place only through CET cell (CAP rounds). Please

4. What is the cut off?

The cut off usually goes to 98 percentiles for General Management. More
details can be found on CET cell website (see above). For Business Analytics,
it is yet to be made since it is the first batch.

5. Is there a spot round/university level round for admissions?

After all CAP rounds are over and if there are vacant seats, the University
conducts Spot rounds, which will be open for all aspiring students. There is
no Management quota at COEP Tech. The admission is as per merit score.
The notification for this round is published on COEP website and/or local
newspapers.
6. What is the fee structure?

7. Is there special provision for students from category?

No, since this is a self-funded MBA program, there is no difference in fee
for any category, and fee for all is the same.

8. Is there facility to avail student loan?

The University has an SBI branch and information can be taken from the
bank officials regarding the same.

9. Are there any scholarships given?

COEP Tech has alliances with several schemes for scholarships which can be
availed by all students. You may also apply for scholarships from outside
with due approval from the concerned authority.

10.Is the hostel facility provided?

No, hostel facility is limited only to the UG students. All PG students at
COEP Tech have to make arrangements for that stay. However, food at
COEP mess can be made available on request and permission from
concerned authorities.

11.What is the status of placements & internships?

COEP Tech has an extremely active and functional Training & Placement
cell, which continuously strives to get internships and placement
opportunities for all students. However, getting placed is entirely
dependent on the competence and performance of the students.

14.Does COEP give dual MBA degree?

No, COEP does not provide dual MBA degree.
