The attached list of observations has been discussed with the ship's staff prior to the inspector's departure and a copy has been left on board.
The Master was invited to make comments on the listed observations and those comments (if any) have been added to the observation list.

A copy of this list and the detailed Vessel Inspection Questionnaire Report (VIQ) will be submitted to BP SHIPPING for review. BP SHIPPING will
contact your owner/operator directly in due course and provide them with a copy of the VIQ report.

The following observations should not be considered as a final or comprehensive list and BP SHIPPING reserves the right to add to or amend
these observations. If BP SHIPPING amends the list of observations they will advise the owner/operator.

This list of observations does not constitute any warranty of the fitness or suitability of the vessel.

The inspector is grateful for the cooperation and hospitality accorded to him by the Master and crew.

2.13. Is the vessel provided with an approved Ballast Water and Sediments Management Plan, are records maintained of all ballast water
exchanges or treatment operations and are the officers aware of BWM requirements? (Yes/No/Not Seen/Not Applicable)

Observations: It was observed that BWTS was out order from 14 June 2023 till 18 Aug 2023 and the vessel was carried out ballasting and de
ballasting without any treatment.
The vessel was not provided contingency procedure in Ballast Water Management Plan in case BWTS faulty. Only short term Ballast Water
Management Statement of Compliance was issued by Lloyd's Register was provided.
Ballast Water Management Statement of Compliance was issued by Lloyd's Register on 31 August 2023. Approved method was BWTS in
accordance with regulation D-2.
Ballast Water Management Plan was approved by Lloyd's Register on 17 September 2018. Approved methods were sequential method and
BWTS.

4.7. Is navigation equipment appropriate for the size of the vessel and in good order? (Yes/No/Not Seen/Not Applicable)

Observations: Magnetron of S Band Radar was observed at 13525 running hours although replacement of magnetron was required every 7000
hours as per the manufacturer manual.

9.17. Are mooring wires, lines, synthetic tails and connecting apparatus in good order? (Yes/No/Not Seen/Not Applicable)

Observations: The vessel was provided with steel wires ropes and all wires ropes were observed greaseless and rusty / oxidated.

10.32. Are the following, where applicable, all in good order and do they appear to be well maintained? (Yes/No/Not Seen/Not Applicable)

Observations: No 1 and 2 central coolers out butterfly valves 20' which were renewed during the last renewals survey were observed leaking
and also all areas around noted signs of leaks.
The injection hose of the BWTS neutralization unit was observed leaking from the temporarily repaired area.

11.3. Is the general condition, visual appearance and cleanliness of the weather decks satisfactory and are deck working areas clearly
identified and provided with non-slip surfaces? (Yes/No/Not Seen/Not Applicable)

Observations: Moderate to hard, spot, localized rust were observed on the sunken deck and on the forward of the trunk deck.

11.4. Is the general condition of service pipework satisfactory and is it free from significant corrosion and pitting and soft patches or other
temporary repairs? (Yes/No/Not Seen/Not Applicable)

Observations: Moderate to hard, localized rusts were observed on the stands, supports along the truck deck and starboard of the truck deck.

11.9. Are the deck lights all operational and sufficient in number and range to illuminate the deck to facilitate safe working during darkness?

Observations: The vessel was fitted with 2 projectors in 1 fixture. Total projectors 8 were unlit during the deck round; 1 on the sunken deck, 3
on the forward mast, 1 on the truck deck forward port mast, 1 on the aft port manifold, 1 on the aft starboard manifold, 1 on the forward of
compressor room.
