Cryonax's tentacle and ice shard attacks are treated as magical for the purpose of bypassing resistance and immunity to nonmagical weapons. ‘ee Walk. Cryonax's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 20). He can innately cast the following spels, requiring no material components: Atwill: cone of cold, sleet storm, wall of ice Fear of Fire. If Cryonax takes fire damage, he has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of his next turn, Resistance (3/Day). If Cryonax fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead ‘Magic Resistance. Cryonax has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Actions ‘Multiattack Cryonax makes two tentacle attacks or uses Ice Shard twice. Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack:+11 to hit, reach 20 fe, cone target. Hit: 18 (3d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 14 (4d6) cold damage. Ifthe target is a creature not immune to cold damage, it must succeed on 2 DC 20 Constitution saving throw or be frozen for 1 minute. While frozen, the target is considered paralyzed, and if itis reduced to 0 hit points it shatters and is destroyed. A greater restoration spell ends the effect early Creatures that are resistant to cold damage have advantage on their saving throw against being frozen. ee Shard. Summoned yetis have maximum hit points, appear in unoccupied spaces within 100 feet of Cryonax, coll theit own initiative, are allied to Cryonax, and disappear if Cryonax is reduced to 0 hit points. Legendary Actions Cryonax can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature's turn, Cryonax regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn, Sudden Chill Cryonax creates a blast of freezing air within 300 feet of himself. Each creature in the area in physical contact with metal objects (for example, arying metal weapons or wearing metal armor) takes 4 (1d8) cold damage. Each creature in the area that isn't resistant or immune to cold damage must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or gain one level of exhaustion, Ice Field (Costs 2 Actions). Cryonax freezes the ground around it, creating snow and jagged shards of ce. The rea within 60 fet of Cryonax becomes dit eran for 10 minutes. Hypothermic Gaze (Costs 3 Actions}. Cryonax attempts, to greatly lower the body temperature of a creature he can see within 30 feet of him. The creature must make DC 20 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 45 (10d8) cold damage and is slowed as if by the sfow spell for 1 minute. A target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and isn't slowed.
