Dear Nick,

How are you? I am happy you are my penfriend. My name is John. I am fourteen years old and I live in
Madrid, the capital of Spain. Madrid is a modern city with many museums, monuments, parks and
squares.

I go to Madrilera High School in the morning. I get up at half past seven and take a shower every day.
Then I brush my teeth and get dressed. At eight o’clock I have breakfast. I have coffee with milk and a
chicken sandwich. School starts at half past eight. I have classes from half past eight in the morning to
two o’clock in the afternoon. I sometimes have lunch in the school canteen with my classmates at about
one o’clock. At four o’clock I do my homework and then I watch TV in the living room. My favorite
program is “El Hormiguero”. At seven o’clock I have dinner with my family in the kitchen. Then I read a
book or listen to music in my bedroom. Finally I go to bed at eleven o’clock every night

On weekends I love playing the guitar and singing, but I hate running and cleaning my room.
