Puppies

Baby dogs are called puppies. A group of puppies is a litter. A mother dog
stays with the litter. When a puppy is born, they are called a newborn.
Newborn puppies are born blind and deaf. This means they
cannot hear or see. Their nose helps them find their mom.
Their mom feeds them milk and cleans them with her tongue.
It takes them two weeks to see and hear. Puppies have
baby teeth. They will have their adult teeth at six months.
Give them a hard chew toy. This keeps their teeth
clean and strong.
