Construction Technologies Materials — Selection of Materials for an application. Material testing, site testing, QA and QC- itsimportance Methodology — Execution of various items of work Construction chemicals and Water Proofing with real case studies. Quantity Surveying & Specifications * Specifications for various items of works. * Calculation of quantity for all civil ‘works such as Brickwork, Concrete, Rebar etc Estimation. + Painting ond other finishes - types and plications and techniques. Various ms of works/ critical points to be Rate Analysis + Rote analysis Tendering procedures/ preparation of contract agreement, clauses/ report preparation, Preparation of bills Work scheduling, monitoring, value ‘engineering and reconciliation. Valuation Basic Structural Design *+ Basic design requirements and concepts (Concrete and Steel). + Soil engineering, soil investigation, foundation types and application, Advanced Techniques + Pre stressing /PT slabs and beams/flat plates/flat slabs etc.,- special structures. + Industrial structures/ Steel structures. * Green Building Concepts, + Sustainability in construction.
