Kamarth Family History, Lorna Rangaard family

This is Donald Budahl's story of the Kamarths.

Herman Kamarth was original settler and father of Richard, Ben, Ted, Bill and Alfred.
He had a brother, August.

Richard and Ted got all Hermans land when he died. all in Norman township.
SE1/4 sec 6 and SW1/4 sec 12, Fortier tswp. and NW1/4 sec 7. and NW1/4 sec 18.
Also NW 1/4 sec 30.

Richard was Lorna's father. born on Pauls place, NW1/4 sec 18, Lived on Randy
Westphal's place, NW1/4 sec 5. married Roy Rangaard Jan 2, 1942 and lived at NW1/4
sec. 7 , Richard gave Lorna that land 2 days before Lorna's mother died. Lorna was 22
yrs old. Richard remarried to Jesse and she outlived him.
Roy and Lorna had Gary, Curt, and Gordy.

Ted and Richard bought Duis farm NW1/4 sec 1 and Ted inherted it and gave it to the 3
boys.

Ben was father to Paul, George, Mrs Budahl,June Kalloff, Louise Panning, and
Lawrence, who died, fell from tree at 19 years old.
Ben lived NE1/4 sec 18.

Ted never married.

Bill was father to Carolyn King. Her mother died when she was 13 years old. Bill was
town drunk and lived across from community center.

Alfred lived in Ariz.

Roy Rangaards father was Henry, Lived in Lac Qui Parle, 2miles N and 2 miles W of
Berckes station. Sisters Avis Harding and Lois Bornsted
