MIXOLOGY

Mixology is the study and skill of inventing,preparing and serving cocktail and other drinks.it includes
knowledge of common common cocktail ingredients.Adding specific garnishes and tools for creating
mixed drinks

MIXOLOGIST

Focuses more on creating cocktails with an emphasis on creating unique or new drink rather than
making classic ones.

Liquor and Liqueurs:Give examples of each?

Liquor

The name used to describe any distilled beverage.Also known as spirits,are alcoholic beverage made of
plants and grains and concocted into a potent drink.Has an alcoholic of atleast 20%,although 40% is
more common.Examples are gin,vodka,rum and tequila.

Liqueurs

It is a type of liquor that contains much more sugar and are often used as flavoring agent in a
cocktail.And often has lower proof of alcohol

Sometimes reffered as Cordial

Aparetifs developed specifically as pre-meal beverages.Usually low in alcohol and mild tasting.Cordials
and Liqueurs have a variety of purpose,some great mixers,other are good after dinner drinks.

Examples are Luxado,Vermeer,Benedictine,curacao,Baileys etc
