Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)

 Education and training which provides knowledge and skills.


 Main purpose is guide youth to prepared for work.
 Responsible to re- skilling the workers and enable individual overcome
disadvantage
 The objective: To fulfill the demand of industry and contribute for economic
growth
 more 500 public institution offer various of TVET course
 There are two public institution that providing skills training to youth such as
Institut Kemahiran Belia dan Negara (IKBN) and Institut Latihan Perindustrian
(ILP)
 Government allocate about RM20 million

- The latest program that have been introduce is National Bootcamp programme
- The objective: to increase the TVET training through short courses
- The target of the programme: have more 1 million youth to have career and training
opportunity in TVET industry

Bantuan Pelajar Pendidikan Tinggi (BPPT)

 Government allocate RM120 million


 Kad Diskaun Siswa 1Malaysia (KADS1M) → Bantuan Pelajar Pendidikan Tinggi
(BPPT)
 Both distribute the money through Bank Rakyat Debit Card
 Current amount RM100 compared to Rm250
 The purpose: to ease the burden of financial. The financial problem will affect
their performance in studies.
 The end of the result: students not worried more about the financing and focus
more on their studies.

Malaysia Professional Accountancy Centre (MyPAC)

 Non-profit organisation
 Responsible to ensure the scholar under the programme at the excellent level and
maintain a stability progression
 Also responsible in monitoring and reporting about scholar’s performance to their
sponsoring entities
 Provides financial assistance, program for english improvement and intensive
counseling to build the confidence
 Main objective: - to accelerate the development of BPAs
- to increase the number of Bumiputera hold a professional accountancy
qualifications
 Target to produce graduated MyPAC is 600 qualified chartered Bumiputera
accountants.
 MyPAC actively carried activities to create awareness about professional
accountancy qualifications pathway
 Government allocate about RM17.5 million
