Strategic of intercultural business communication

Good evening Mr. Jovanni,

I’m writing to you to remind that we are having business conference in

Minsk in two days, so we hope you received your tickets and all the necessary
information according your stay. Therefore, we would like to give you a brief
description of belarusian culture just for you to be informed. We are very glad to
have this opportunity to host you in our country as it may help to strengthen the
bond between our cultures and improve our business relationship. Business
meetings are usually held on a very high level of professionalism so we expect you
to take into consideration dress code. If you have any personal questions don’t
hesitate to ask anyone and we will be extremely happy to help you out and make
your stay productive and pleasurable. We trust our partners and respect our
relationships to the fullest. If you own any business cards, catalogues or any piece
of information, we would kindly ask you to provide translation just in case. Our
employees are highly educated, but we expect you to take into account that not all
people are fluent in English. You may send the translations via email, if you
please. You may invite a local interpreter as well if it’s necessary. We, Belarusians,
are cultural and hospitable people so we pay extra attention to our guests and
business partners. We usually greet people wearing traditional clothes, giving them
karavai and salt. You may also hear traditional music. Our cuisine is an essential
part of our culture so please give our food a good taste. If you’re interested in some
local restaurants or bars, you may contact our PR department and they would be
glad to help you. That’s all you have to know about our culture and our country. If
you have any questions, please contact me as soon as possible so we can have a
chat or call.

With all respect,

Lisaveta
