Guidelines for working paper

Paper Content
• Title of paper
• Name of author & contact details
• Abstract
• Keywords

• Acknowledgements

Title of paper
Title of the paper should be aligned centre of the page. The text size should be 22 Point for
Paper title and 14 point for subtitle.

Name of auther & contact details


Your name and contact information with email address.

Abstract
The abstract must appropriately reflect the content of the paper.
It must be a brief introduction to the problem, purpose/aim of the paper, research method/s
and major findings/conclusions.

Keywords
Include 5-6 important keywords. Consider what would be the keywords you would use in
order to find your paper.
Abstarct and keywords Should be in Italics.

Main text
The entire article shall be summary of the dissertation but it shall coherent and clear. Include
only the tables, graphs, figures and other graphical material that is absolutely necessary.
• The text should be placed as two column in a page.

Structure of paper
• Introduction
• Methodology
• Results
• Conclusion
Appendix
Appendixes, if needed should be placed before the acknowledgment.
Acknowledgements
If included, acknowledgments should appear before the list of references.

References
Give a complete list of references that match the citations in the article.The list should be
numbered.

General guidelines
Margins
Preferred margin for all four sides are given below
Left- 1 “ Right -0.5” Top -.8” Bottom-0.5”

Font and Font Size


Font Style : Times New Roman
Font size Body : 10 pt
Section heading (Capital Letter) : 10 pt
Section subheading (Italics-Small letter) : 10 pt

Vertical spacing
The text of the paper must be minimum a letter space (Prefered line spacing -11pt) .
Guidelines for Presentation
The presentation shall be limited to 25 slides.
The suggestive contents and preferred number of slides are given below.

• Introduction to research topic (2 slides)


• Aim & Objectives ( 1slide)
• Scope & Limitations (1 slide)
• Literature review and case studies (3-4 slides)
• Approach& Methodology ( 2-3 slides)
• Methods of data collections, selection of tools for analysis etc.
• Data analysis (4-5 slides)
• Include tables, graphs, figures and maps wherever necessary
• Observations (2-3 slides)
• Conclusion (1-2 slides)

General guidelines

Avoid long sentences in the slides and present the content in bullet points
Give source for all secondary information.

Font Style : Appropriate


Font size Slide heading : 35 pt
Section Heading : 27 pt
Sub heading : 25 pt
Minimum Size of any test shall be : 18 pt
Footer
Footer shall include name of the institution

Slide Numbering
All slides should be numbered .
