Abstract;

It has been promulgated that before two thousand twelve smog was
not the component of air pollution However, after two twelve it
became the perpetual hazardous component of air pollution.
Due to the soaring trend of real estate the , stubble burning, large
numbers of vehicles, urbanisation, brick factories and over population
every year in winter season a dense blanket of smog engulf the large
cities of south Asia specifically, Delhi , Kolkata , Dhaka , Karachi and
Lahore on the top.
According to the recant AQI ( air quality index) lahore with 305mm
remained the most air polluted country of the world and WHO alarmed
the hazardous level a serious threat to human health that has both
adverse affect mental and physical.
Smog a dense blanket is basically made of two main components along
with various other small components. The main two components
consist of smoke and fog that when react with the other air gases such
as carbon dioxide, greenhouse gases and carbon monoxide in the
presence of moisture ( water droplets) held a dense black air pollution
known as smog.
According to WHO if the real estate and urbanisation continue with
such a rapid acceleration the hazardous level of smog will cross the
400mm level of AQI in upcoming years that will be difficult to dealt with
and can prove lethal to human being.

Ans. The most lethal and alarming effects of smog on human
body include lung cancer, soar eyes, skin disease and
bronchitis.

Ans; due lo lack of proper town planning, large number of
industries within cities, huge terrific and urbanisation.
Q3. How could hazardous level of smog be reduced?
Ans: Ban on stubble burning, town plaining , reduced
urbanisation, ban industries emitting green house gasses and
carbon dioxide.
Q4: what are Basic components of Smog?
Ans. Basic components of smog are smoke , fog , water
droplets, greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide.
