Corresp/2022/252 Dated 17.10.2022 Urgent Notice WB PG Medical / Dental 2022 Round 1 Seat Surrender regarding The WB PG Medical / Dental round 1 admission is going to end as per latest schedule at 6 pm of 17.10.2022. The candidates who got allotted in round 1 and were duly admitted and opted for participation in round 2, shall be automatically included in eligible candidate list for round 2 unless they resign / surrender from their seat. The last date and time for seat surrender is 22.10.2022 up to 2 pm as Per server time. After that no candidate admitted in round 1 shall be allowed to surrender seat and such candidates shall be included in round 2 eligible list. The seat surrender timeline is also applicable for candidates who have duly admitted in round 1 seat but not provided willingness for parti round 2, if they are not satisfied with the present seat. It may be reiterated that seat surrender is only for admitted candidate who is not satisfied with present seat and want to completely withdraw from the counseling process. It is made clear that surrendered candidate shall be totally out of counseling process and shall not be able to participate in any further rounds of WB PG 2022 counseling, for surrender candidate has to appear physically and declare win writing that he /she wants to surrender such seat. After surrender, they will get back their documents and deposited fees but only the admission fee shall be forfeited. After the cut off timeline mentioned above candidate cannot surrender without bond penalty that is they can only get release by paying the entire bond penalty money to the admitted institute and also the deposited fee shall be forfeited. New registration shall be open once again before round 2 choice filling for those who have not registered earlier in round 1 and those who have requested for registration initialization through the nodal officer of the verification centre (if applicable). Fresh choice filling shall be provided for all eligible candidate for round including the newly registered candidates, admitted candidates in round 1 who provided willingness for round 2, non allotted candidates in round 1, cancelled candidates in round 1 (who even after cancellation with changed oe ~Candidature are still remaining eligible for round 2 counseling). The candidates who got admitted in round 1 but did not provide willingness for round 2 are obliviously are not included for round 2. The candidates who provided willingness of round 2 during admission, thereby included in eligible list of round 2 if not fill fresh choice then cannot be considered for allotment in round 2. Hence it is further reiterated that whoever becomes eligible for round 2 counseling as per rule shall have to fill fresh choice in round 2 for being considered for allotment as per inter-se-merit by the counseling software. That is, fresh choice filling is must also for candidates of round 1 who must not confuse because they already filled choice in round 1. The choices filled in round 1 shall not be considered in round 2. The candidates, who get cancelled in round 1 due to want of essential documents which are irrevocable, are also out of counseling process any further.
