DESHAUN WATSON TO BE SUSPENDED FOR 11 GAMES

After review by the NFL committee Watson

will be suspended

Cleveland September 24, 2022 Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been suspended
for the first 11 games of the 2022-23 season after being accused of sexual assault prior to this
season.

The NFL was seeking to suspend Watson for the entirety of the 2022-23 season, but the Browns
managed to bring the amount of games back down from an entire season. Initially, the
suspension was set at two games, which then made its way up to six games, and eventually up to
11 games which is where he is currently sitting. The NFL also released a statement stating that
“Watson will undergo a professional evaluation by behavioral experts and will follow their
treatment program”. As a team and as a company we in no way, shape, or form condone this type
of action within our association.

Deshaun Watson is scheduled to return in week 12 of the 2022-23 NFL season but we are unsure
of what his status will be on the depth chart. As of now, The suspension will last through week
11 with no appeal.
