Do you have good study habits? Do you find it hard to concentrate on your homework? Do
you get to class and not remember anything of what you studied the night before? If so, here are
some tips to help your study:

Tip 1: Set a time to study.

Many kids find it easiest to come home, have something to eat, and then study right away,
but if you have other activities at that time you'll need to find what works for you.
 Tip 2: Study every day.
If you don't have homework to do, take a few minutes to review topics that you find
hardest. This may sound boring, but it's good to get into the habit of doing it every day.
Tip 3: Create your own study space.
If you don't have a desk in your room, or if you family is not quiet enough, think of going
to the library.
Tip 4: Don't do other things when you are studying.
Watching TV, fixing a snack, and talking on the phone distract you. Some people study
with music playing. If it's just quieter music and doesn't make you play the drums on your
books, it's probably not too distracting.
 Tip 5: Take notes.
If you have a lot of reading to do to prepare for a test, try taking notes. If not, you'll feel
crazy.

Finally, ask for help if you need it. Teachers and friends will usually go over something with
you again if you didn't quite "get it" the first time.

distract: 使分心
squirrel: 松鼠
migration: 遷徙

49. Lisa always calls her classmates to asking lessons. Her classmates, however, hate to answer
her because she talks much more than discusses. Which tip should she have?
(A) Tip 1. (B) Tip 3. (C) Tip 4. (D) Tip 5.

50. What is the main idea of the reading?

(A) Some advices to study better. (B) Good tips to get better grades.
(C) The methods to concentrate on homework. (D) Wonderful news to remember faster.
