• Write a short paragraph 100-150 words about your past language
experience.
During my school and high school years, my past language
experience was quite disappointing. It was characterized by a feeling of dissatisfaction stemming mainly from the teaching methods used by my language teachers. The focus was predominantly on the grammar, which was presented in a drab and unappealing manner. Instead of fostering a love of language learning, the classes became tedious and boring. As a result, my motivation to actively engage with the language decreased, hindering my progress in terms of fluency and communication skills. Looking back, I believe that a more interactive and immersive approach to language education could have significantly improved my past language experience and fostered a genuine enthusiasm for learning. Luckily, now I am learning in a better way at the University.
