Coming back from the stream, and begin welcomed by the aroma of the food in

which you were preparing was always the highlight of my day as a little boy, as it
meant a lot to me,- it meant that oh mama has come back, ehehh food will almost
be ready, ah she most have bought something for me, and as usual you had already
purchased okpala (ground nut)for me and tucked it at the end of your bed waiting
for me to come back and eat it, while I wait for the food to be done.

Oh I remembered how it broke your heart that I couldn’t further my education and
the numerous sacrifices that you made to ensure, that my future turned out to be
good.

Your joy knew no bound as your saw my first car, you danced, swaying your hips
while singing praises. You went on and on, on how more where to come and how
God have finally answered your prayers. On the day of by wedding you were
relentless; moving from one place to another, to make sure that nothing goes
wrong. On the day my first child was born, you were filed with bliss.

You were always there for me, you could move mountain just to ensure that I was
comfortable. You were one of a kind. Strict to a point, but loving so
unconditionally.

You my mother, was the strongest, bravest, and kindest human to grace this planet.
Without you, I wouldn’t be the person I am. And I wouldn’t have the life I have.
You are everything to me, and more. There’s no other way I can qualify the
importance you held in my life. You were the best mother anyone could ask for,
you were caring, lovely, and brave. You were one in a million.

No matter how long as the year’s roles by and as time passes, the memory of you
in my heart will never subside, thanks for all your sacrifices and love. I will always
